What are the age requirements for your youth opportunities?

Participants can be any age up to 24 who would benefit, unless otherwise specified.

How do I enroll my child for one of your opportunities?

To enroll, email [email protected], and you will receive an application to fill out and return.

What would these opportunities offer my child?

Including but not limited to mentorship, training, certification, personal development, advocacy, community service opportunities, leadership opportunity, and various paid opportunities.


The Youth of Opportunity™

The Youth of Opportunity (TYO) academy at Keep it Simple and Safe is a well-rounded experience to help you explore all aspects of life, through:
• Community activism, service and organizing
• Training/Certification
• Life Readiness
• Entrepreneurship (through our Young Entrepreneurs Network)
• 1-on-1 Mentorship
• Work Try-Out, Internship + Paid opportunities
• Therapeutic services
• Activities

Our academy equips you with skills needed to change the community around you, and helps you become the change you want to see.

If you need anything to stay on that path of greatness—advice, comfort, counseling—we will provide it, so you can be ready to become a mentor of the Youth Academy.

Young Entrepreneurs Network™

The Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN) is a sub-space within our academy that supports and encourages youth who would like to start their own businesses.

In this network, KISS helps you navigate the process of starting your choice of a for-profit or non-profit, from registration, choosing a name, and obtaining funds.

Through joining the network, you get resources to grow your business and expand your connections.
