What are the age requirements for your youth opportunities?
Anyone up to 24 can join, unless otherwise specified.
How do I enroll my child in one of your opportunities?
To enroll, email [email protected], and you will get an application to fill out and return.
What would these opportunities offer my child?
Having these opportunities gives youth skills, confidence, and agency, which will help them in their daily lives.

The Youth of Opportunity academy at Keep it Simple and Safe is a well-rounded experience to help you explore all aspects of life, through:
• Community activism, service, and organizing
• Training & Certification
• Preparing for Adulthood
• Starting your own business (through our Young Entrepreneurs Network)
• 1-on-1 Mentoring
• Work Try-Out, Intern & Paid opportunities
• Therapeutic services
• Activities & Trips
Our academy teaches the skills needed to make change within your community, and helps you become the change you want to see.
You can achieve greatness through comfort and coaching. As a result, you'll be ready to mentor others at the Youth Academy.

The Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN) is a space within our academy for youth who want to start their own businesses.
KISS helps you start a for-profit or not-for-profit from registering, choosing a name, to seeking funds.
By joining the network, you get resources to grow your business and expand your connections.
